We're really looking forward to the coming year and have lots of exciting projects and ideas buzzing around our heads, which we can't wait to get cracking with.
2011 was a great year for Popcake Kitchen and it seems like the perfect time to look back at all the fabulous projects we were lucky enough to be part of...
In the spring we were thrilled to be part of two great Tea Party Projects for really worthwhile causes. The 'Big Chocolate Tea Party' took place in support of The Sick Children's Trust and the 'Blooming Great Tea Party' for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Also in the spring we met the lovely Karen McGowran of Karen McGowran Photography who took some stunning photos of our wedding pops. We absolutley loved working with Karen and were chuffed to bits with the images.

In June we were approached to write our first book and got cracking straight away! Before we knew it, we were in London on the set of a fabulous photo shoot working with our designer, editor and photographer styling amazing shots for our very own book. We had a brilliant time and can't wait for the book to be out this April. ( You can pre-order it now on Amazon :) )
We had great fun attending two wedding industry events hosted by very lovely wedding bloggers; Annabel of Love My Dress and Julia of Brides Up North.

We attended several wedding fairs and had great fun meeting lots of new brides and grooms. A special one for us was held at The Sage and was hosted by Dawn Marie Wedding and Event Design as this is where we launched our brand new Temari Cakes.
